64x64px game jam!
Read an interview with Ralph Baer recently and something he said really struck me:
It’s two frigging spots on screen and it makes one exciting game.
A two-player, two-pixel game that was exciting to play. Simple simple simple!
This is interesting! Such a strange space requirement, will be cool to see what comes out of it though I don’t think I’ll be trying to compete! From my perspective it seems harder for it’s simplicity rather than easier than a more traditional open Jam!

I second the weird size requirement, I would have thought 128x128 would have made the barrier for entry lower as people could use Pico 8.
I was thinking more along the lines of the ratio, a square is an unusual space to compose for, though I do really like square format photos!
Really enjoying browsing the #LOWREZJAM submissions(-to-be). Again, limitations truly breeds inspiration! :)
